Get the Precision and Accuracy You Need with a Centering Tube!

Using a Centering Tube, or Template Tube Adapter, in your stud welding process guarantees accurate stud placement and precise alignment with the welding surface. This accuracy is crucial for achieving a strong and consistent weld.

The Centering Tube stabilizes the stud during the welding process, preventing any movement or tilting. These functions are essential for achieving high-quality welds, particularly in applications where precision and reliability are critical.

In order to use the Centering Tube in your stud welding process, create a template tailored to your specific part.

Your template would have 30MM or 1″ holes marking the location where you want your weld stud to be placed (other sizes available). Most customers use a non-conductive high temp plastic or phenolic for their template.

Additionally, our customers have reported that with the right template design and the Centering Tube they were able to achieve .008 location accuracy with each weld stud.

For Pro-weld model welders use: PN: 039-839 with a 1″ Outside Diameter or PN: 039-840 with a 1-1/4″ Outside Diameter

For IWT model welders use: PN: 1-IW004163 with a 1-1/4″ Outside Diameter
